Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) Committee Handbook 2025-26

The Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) Committee is dedicated to providing a diversified platform for students to develop their skills, facilitating holistic development. Through participation in various extra-curricular activities, students can not only enhance their creativity and self-confidence but also comprehensively improve their physical fitness, intellectual level, and social skills. Another core objective of this committee is to strengthen students’ sense of belonging to the school.

1. Functions

（一）Formulate policies for the development and management of extra-curricular activities.
（二）Coordinate the scheduling of extra-curricular activities across departments and societies throughout the academic year.
（三）Arrange and keep records of the usage of school venues for extra-curricular activities.
（四）Assist Patron-in-Charges in organizing extra-curricular activities.
（五）Provide training for executive committee members of various societies, clubs, and specialized committees.
（六）Guide and supervise the operations and financial management of clubs and societies.
（七）Evaluate and assess the quality and effectiveness of extra-curricular activities.
（八）Facilitate the teaching of practical skills and the instillation of ethical values, which may be difficult to achieve in formal classroom settings.
（九）Provide avenues for students to expand their horizons, promoting social development through practical social experiences, social skills, and international moral and social values.
