Terry Ho

English teacher


Mr Terry HO is a Registered Teacher with nearly 30 years of experience in secondary English education. He possesses extensive expertise in the Hong Kong secondary English curriculum, public assessment, and language pedagogy, supported by decades of classroom practice.

Throughout his career, Mr HO has specialised in junior secondary English curriculum planning and instructional improvement. He is committed to building strong language foundations through structured, student-centred teaching that develops learners' confidence, independent learning habits, and readiness for senior secondary and international programmes.Mr. Ho is passionate about sports, particularly basketball. He has served as the school basketball team coach for many years and was formerly an assistant coach for Hong Kong First Division (Group B) and Second Division basketball teams.

Mary Zhang

English teacher


Currently an English Teacher and Assistant Director of College Counseling at St. Hilary's Secondary School, responsible for English instruction, creative writing, English drama activities, and assisting students with university planning.

With over 15 years of experience in international education and cross-cultural communication, having led educational initiatives in Canada, Mainland China, and Hong Kong, and holding a Master of Education from the University of Southern California, dedicated to cultivating students' English proficiency, creative thinking, and global perspectives.

Nolan Wu

English teacher


A senior academic manager in international high schools with 14 years of dedicated experience in curriculum framework development and subject research coordination. Directed the English curriculum design for DSE, IB, and A-Level programs. Highly skilled in building Humanities departments and facilitating the professional development of both local and expatriate teachers. Holds CELTA and IB training certifications.

Ms Cora ZHU

English Teacher


Ms Cora ZHU is a certified English teacher holding a Master of Education from the University of Nottingham, UK. With extensive experience in international education, she specialises in English language teaching, curriculum delivery, and interdisciplinary learning. Her expertise also includes drama directing, English debate coaching, and public speaking.

Believing that language is a powerful vehicle for critical thinking, creativity, and global communication, Ms ZHU adopts an engaging, inquiry-based approach that empowers students to develop confidence, communication skills, and the competencies required to thrive in an international learning environment.

Mia Liu

During my undergraduate studies, I completed teaching internships at Methodist College Hong Kong and New Heung Shung Commercial Association Chan Pak Sha Memorial Secondary School. As a postgraduate student, I served as an after-school Mathematics Olympiad coach at Shenzhen Pui Kiu School. Following graduation, I joined St. Hilary's Secondary School as Head of Mathematics, teaching Senior Secondary Mathematics and the Elective Mathematics Module 2 (M2).

Over 7 years of teaching experience at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore.

Upon returning to China, accumulated 5 years of HKDSE teaching experience and subject department management experience.

Proficient in the HKDSE, A-Level, and IBDP chemistry curricula. Employing diverse and flexible teaching methodologies, I maintain a student-centered approach that encourages independent inquiry, with a strong focus on developing logical reasoning and comprehensive problem-solving skills.

Deeply experienced in international examination preparation and chemistry competition coaching, with a proven track record of outstanding student performance in standardized tests. Frequently led teams to participate in international chemistry Olympiads, including UKChO, ASOC, and CCC, guiding numerous students to win Gold Medals. Personally recognized as an Outstanding Competition Coach.

Bachelor's degree in Electronic Information Engineering from Hunan University of Technology and Business; Master's degree in Education from Shanghai Normal University. Dedicated to AI education for 8 years, previously served as a Curriculum Designer at a renowned domestic programming education company and as the Head of AI Curriculum at a bilingual school.

Graduated from the School of Physical Education at Jinan University, majoring in Football and Track & Field. Track & Field training was directly guided by Professor Su Bingtian.

Master's degree in Piano Pedagogy from the University of York, UK. Possesses 8 years of teaching experience in international curricula and choral conducting, with strong expertise in organizing major events and coaching for competitions.

Roy

Director of Global University Planning & Head of Chinese Language Department


Mr. Tsang previously taught at an English Medium of Instruction (EMI) secondary school in Hong Kong for three years. Currently serving as the Head of Chinese Language Department, he brings extensive experience in secondary Chinese curriculum instruction and public examination preparation, dedicated to cultivating students' reading, writing, and practical language application skills.

A passionate literary creator, Mr. Tsang has won first and second prizes in provincial-level literary competitions for three consecutive years, as well as three overseas literary awards. His published works span novels, poetry collections, and essays, demonstrating profound literary attainment and rich creative experience.

In his teaching practice, he has guided students in national essay competitions, helping many achieve outstanding results and shortlist placements, earning him the title of "Best Guiding Teacher." Furthermore, he has served as a guiding committee member for literary awards and participated in research on the assessment criteria for the Chinese Language subject in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) examination. This has given him deep insights into the reading and writing requirements of public examinations.

Mr. Tsang believes that language learning is built upon reading, critical thinking, and creative writing. He is committed to creating inspiring classrooms that guide students to enhance their language proficiency, foster a love for reading, develop creative thinking, and build cultural literacy, thereby laying a solid foundation for both public examinations and their future academic pursuits.
